Herringbone Trinket Box Workshop

In this workshop with Studio MU YU, you get to design your own Trinket Box with different hard wood found in Singapore. This workshop lets you explore and appreciate wood in a different light while you learn how to use hand tools to create your own box!

In this workshop, participants will:

• Explore a new and therapeutic world in woodworking.
• Learn about the importance of trees' sustainability.
• Be introduced to different types of wood.
• Identify the importance of the direction of wood grain and its impact on the beauty of your final handcrafted Trinket Box.
• Receive demonstrations of how to use traditional woodworking hand tools!
• Woodworking basics from sanding to finishing their product
