In this workshop, participants will learn the art of stamp carving with step-by-step instructions, perfect for beginners and seasoned crafters alike.

In this workshop, participants will:

• Understand the basics of stamp carving and its uses (e.g., journaling, packaging, gifts).
• Explore different types of carving materials (rubber blocks, linoleum, erasers).
• Overview of essential tools: carving knives, gouges, cutting mats, and ink pads.
• Sketch simple yet effective designs for carving.
• Consider positive and negative space in stamp design.
• Transfer the design onto the carving block using tracing techniques.
• Learn how to use carving tools safely and effectively.
• Practise basic carving strokes and pressure control.
• Create clean lines and refining details in the design.
