“Life sucks—and that’s okay.” Today, there’s a lot of pressure to always seem happy and put-together. But real life isn’t like that—it can be messy, stressful, and overwhelming. Bleak Illustration started after graduation as a way to deal with those feelings. It’s about expressing things people go through but don’t always talk about. What began in 2012 with notebooks and stickers has grown into different forms—paintings, tote bags, rings, ceramics, and more—always exploring new ideas and materials. At its core, Bleak is about connection. It’s a reminder that if you’re struggling, you’re not alone.
